Grosvenor School

In the 1930s the artists of the Grosvenor School were the first to use lino as a medium for printmaking.

Under the leadership of Claude Flight artists like Sybil Andrews and Cyril Power developed strong distinctive styles of artwork which contributed to the rise of the colour linocut print during this period.
